Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on our experience. We contacted them during an extremely stressful time while selling our house. We had an active leak that needed to be identified and resolved quickly to avoid delaying the sale. After carrying out a CCTV survey, they were unable to identify the actual source of the leak. Instead, they made assumptions about the cause and told us that the only solution was to replace and reroute a large section of our drainage system. We were provided with a quotation of £6,450 + VAT for extensive works, including a completely new external drainage arrangement, and were told there were no alternative options. Wanting a second opinion before committing to such a significant expense, we contacted another specialist. They carried out their own CCTV inspection, correctly identified the actual source of the leak, and repaired it promptly. The total cost of the repair was just £166 + VAT. The difference between the proposed solution and the actual repair required was astonishing. The original diagnosis proved to be incorrect, and the extensive works we were advised to undertake were completely unnecessary. The experience added enormous stress to what was already a very difficult house sale. We lost valuable time, worried that our sale might fall through, and were left believing we faced a repair bill of several thousand pounds when the problem was ultimately resolved with a straightforward repair. I appreciate that diagnosing drainage issues can sometimes be challenging, but in our case the diagnosis was inaccurate, the recommended works were vastly disproportionate to the actual problem, and the advice we received could have resulted in us spending thousands of pounds unnecessarily. I would strongly encourage anyone facing a similar situation to obtain an independent second opinion before proceeding. Response to the owner: I spoke to you directly by phone, so this wasn't a case of information not being passed on. You were unable to identify the source of the leak and repeatedly told us there were no other options besides the extensive works you quoted, unless we wanted to replace the whole kitchen. A second company carried out another CCTV inspection, identified the actual issue, a failed joint between the shower waste and the main stack, and completed a permanent repair by opening a small section of the ceiling (approximately 15 × 15 cm). They confirmed there were no other issues with our drainage system.
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry the sale was such a stressful time. For anyone reading, here's a bit of context. I discussed everything directly with your husband on site, so some details may not have been passed on. After the survey, I set out three options, from a lower cost repair to a full re route, because of the number of junctions in the system. I was clear that the lowest cost option might be a temporary fix rather than a permanent solution, and as I understand it, that's the repair the other company carried out. Because the property was on the market, I was asked not to lift tiles or open concealed sections. That limited how far I could investigate and what I could responsibly guarantee. I always try to explain the pros and cons of each option honestly so customers can make an informed decision. These guys are absolute lifesavers. We’re in a new build house so was surprised when we had a blocked toilet that’s rarely used! Turns out the builders left tools blocking the drain! Gino explained everything that needed doing and showed me what was going on. Also very conscious of our home and being clean, tidy and respectful. Would absolutely recommend.

They attended after we explained it was a case of a blocked drain outdoors that we needed unblocking , a guy turned up in a van , had a look literally by standing over the open pit , said “drain blocked you speak boss”. Who then called me and insisted the job would cost in region of 900-1000 to fix, bearing in mind apparently this was going to have a full diagnosis and report which usually means a camera put in the drain to see what’s occurring, but no a visual stood up above a overflowing pit apparently sufficed , upon refusal to allow any further works the “boss” became very argumentative very pressuring and insulting to the point of swearing , insisted we must carry out the works otherwise it’ll cost more for someone else to do it , when I asked what equipment he was planning on using the “boss” tried to convince me his plumber was carrying a hydro jetting system in his car (most medium sized vans struggle with the size and weight of these beasts) and didn’t like it when I called him out, upon me saying I was going to report him if he didn’t desist and leave the property his plumber scarpered so quick he left his toolbox behind with its lid open , which upon a glance showed it had some PTFE tape and a couple of pipe cutters inside . I’d recommend anyone to steer clear of this business people, it’s a scam ! Don’t pay them anything

Great service from these guys. Came out quickly, helped ascertain an issue with the wider sewage network and were honest enough to suggest getting the water company out to fix it, rather than mount up the cost. Friendly, efficient and reasonably priced

Called yesterday morning regarding a blockage In my elderly mother's upstairs toilet someone came within a couple of hours he couldn't clear it but diagnosed the problem and assured me someone would come later was kept informed and Gino and another chap turned up managed to solve the problem and also found some other issues which needed to be addressed at a later date nice bloke who knows his stuff just waiting for a quote now for the work to be done..Highly recommended.

Had a drainage blockage and flooding in back of property. Phoned Mon evening, two very polite and super efficient and professional men arrived as promised 9am and had rung before to confirm visit. Called this morning at 8:40. Told they should be able to get to me today and would call an hour before they were arriving. I called at 4pm and was told they were hoping to get to me but there were two other jobs ongoing. I decided to get someone else!

Expert, reassuring, friendly and patient. Gino dealt with the blockage with great efficiency after a call out on Sunday morning. It was a pleasant change to deal with a person who obviously cares about the quality of work and the customer. It wasn't cheap, but for this kind of job extremely good value for money. I can’t thank Gino enough. My first contact with Gino came as a result of a desperate plea from my tenant who had a blocked and overflowing manhole in the rear garden. It had also started to affect the sink drain and the sewage smells were also beginning to resonate within the property. Gino was friendly, informative and extremely obliging and within two hours, as promised, he had arrived on the scene. Spoke with Gino on Wednesday morning and explained the issue. He told me what he would do to attempt to fix the problem and what the costs would be. 3 hours later he was with us sorting the blocked drain. He sent his CCTV camera down and then jet washed the drain out. Problem solved in around an hour. I thought it was great the way he explained everything he was doing throughout the process. Very professional and a nice guy to deal with.

Came out fast. Efficiency seems to be their motto. Early days yet.only first visit for poison with Harrison, who was polite and understanding. Camera in drains which was nothing to worry about. Fixed broken drain same day. Great service so far. Just Hooe the results are as good. Fingers crossed.

Called up mid day on Saturday as we had a blocked waste pipe. He answered quickly,and managed to get out to us within 30 minutes. Service was fantastic as he talked me through everything and let me know how much everything would cost and what he would do! If you’re having drainage problems Gino is your guy. We’ve been having some drainage issues for a few months but this weekend had been the worst it’s ever been we tried everything plunger the drain cleaner bleach nothing was shifting it and now it was starting to back up in the outside drain we had to get someone out So I googled urgent drain cleaner and fount Gino he said he could get here this afternoon bare in mind I rang him at 12:30 he arrived at 3:30 he manually unblocked the first bit of blocked drain but he then went in with a camera and checked the rest of the pipe where he fount a lot of built up urine which he pressure washed out for us and did us an absolute solid by getting the tough last piece out for us without it costing us a fortune feel like I can relax now thank you Gino

Gino and Shane did a great job unblocking our drains. They originally came out in a Monday after calling in the Saturday, 2 days before, quickly getting to work and diagnosing the issue. Shane gave a very in depth overview of the issue over the phone and explained it was an asset of our water company that needed unblocking which was an issue for the water company to unblock. Fast forward one week and Shane and Gino were straight out to do the work themselves after the water company let us down 2 days prior. They were both very professional and great at keeping me updated on the issue, sorting the problem without me even needing to be at the house. Would recommend to anyone to use Urgent Drainage Solutions! Very helpful and very efficient.

Highly Recommended... We had a blocked sewerage pipe, phoned the company and they were with us within 30 minutes. Gino, who is very friendly explained everything to us throughout the procedure. He managed to unblock the pipe and retracted a large piece of metal which was stuck in the pipe. Gino was very efficient, he cleaned absolutely everything away, no sewerage waste to be seen anywhere. These guys are great, we purchased a house and had another company out to do the drains and they totally messed it up, we went with this company and they where very knowledgeable and professional, cleaned up after themselves every time and ensured the area was safe for our kids. After successfully purchasing our new home, we wanted to give it a full look over and check that any improvements and extensions we want to do wouldn’t be affected by underlying problems. Following a recommendation by a friend we contacted Urgent Drain solutions and we booked a CCTV drain survey. They responded very quickly and were able to attend a couple of days later. The survey showed some displaced joints, we were very grateful that the work was able to be carried out at a reasonable price within 7 days of the initial finding. We would highly recommend this company, they were great at communicating and explaining effectively issues and solutions. Very reliable and professional.

Had a blockage in our barbers, called another company they came out and could not resolve the issue, Gino and Shane came out excavated the ground and fix the issue for good, well happy with the service and very nice guys.

Very polite and friendly. Used the camera to illustrate the problems and made recommendations. Not at all pushy, all repairs carried out and again used the camera to show us what they had done. Left everywhere clean and tidy and decontaminated. Highly recommend.
